Employee Benefit Administrative Support and Account Management Services:
- Our dedicated account management team comprised of two professionals – one designated as the lead account manager, and the other providing backup – are accessible through Benico’s national toll-free line (888-669-4883) to help employees and their families with coverage questions, claim resolution, and appeals of denied claims.
- We provide assistance, training, and support for our clients’ HR staff around matters related to employee benefit administration (i.e., billing, eligibility, and enrollment, etc.).
- We assume responsibility for the timely and successful transition of any coverage or administrative services due to a change in carrier or service provider for Client, including the preparation of educational materials for distribution, coordination of employee meetings, and the verification of employee enrollments and delivery of the same to carriers and third party administrators.
- Significant assistance is made available with respect to ongoing employee benefit communication and enrollment.
- If contracted for such, we will develop, launch, and maintain an HR / employee benefits portal known as Benergy™, licensed by Benico through Ebix Inc. The provision of this service includes an enrollment decision support tool called “Ready Enroll”.
- We write and produce benefit education and communication pieces as appropriate and as or when needed (plan changes, etc.). The dissemination of such may be done through print, email, and social media (i.e., principally blog, Facebook, and Twitter).
- Drafting of employee benefit summaries covering all of the employee benefit plans sponsored by our clients, both health & welfare and retirement, that may be used throughout the year, both at the time of open enrollment as well as with new hires.
- Development and production of additional communication pieces as appropriate and as needed (plan changes, etc.)
- Management of online employee surveys, as requested, around benefits.
- Assistance with the development of employee benefit enrollment kits.
- On an ongoing basis we manage relationships with vendors to ensure their quality of performance and their compliance with contractual commitments.
- We facilitate employee benefit plan amendment requests.
- We coordinate the scheduling, as needed, of employee benefits enrollments with representatives from our clients’ employee benefits providers.
- We provide other service, assistance, and/or advice as may reasonably be requested or needed.
