Benico, Ltd. offers professional third party COBRA and HIPAA administration which includes the following services:
  • Receipt of completed Notice of Qualifying Event (NQE) form from client by fax/mail
  • Upon receipt of NQE form, we issue a Certificate of Creditable Coverage pursuant to provisions of the HIPAA law
  • A subsequent Certificate of Creditable Coverage is issued at the end of the participant's 60-day enrollment eligibility period irrespective of enrollment decision
  • Generation of COBRA Qualifying Event Notices to prospective COBRA beneficiary (such notices are sent via a certificate of mailing as proof that the notices are sent)
  • Tracking of time frame from the time of notice to point of enrollment or expiration of the COBRA offer period
  • Receive and keep account of premium payments which are reimbursed to the client company/organization. Weekly client reimbursement reports are generated
  • Subsequent notices are sent on account of late/overdue premiums, cancellation of coverage on account of the non-payment of premiums, end of eligibility period, etc.
